Leading analyst firm evaluates vendors for completeness of vision and ability to execute
BOSTON, November 9, 2011 – MEGA, industry leader in enterprise architecture (EA), business process analysis (BPA), and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions, was positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the leaders quadrant in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools report, published November 3, 2011.
“We have made MEGA different in the market,” said Lucio de Risi, CEO, MEGA. “We believe the market recognizes MEGA’s vision and innovation, especially the advances we have made through intensive R&D in the past five years.”
“We credit our unique position to our focus on business performance, and our ability to deliver business value to ambitious customers that want to optimize, transform, and govern their entire organization, encompassing strategy, business processes, IT assets, risk, and compliance,” he noted.
“MEGA is especially distinctive because we combine winning EA management practices with risk management and governance. This ensures that the entire organization can unite behind a common vision and avoid silos of information that limit decision-making and implementation. We will continue to help companies meet the compelling challenge of increased complexity at reduced cost and with more security” continued de Risi.
MEGA is followed by many leading industry analysts who continually evaluate the EA, BPA, and GRC markets.
“We were also proud to be in Gartner’s Assessment of Enterprise Architecture Tool Capabilities, published March 31, 2011,” de Risi said.
Also, in April, Forrester Research named MEGA a leader in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q2 2011.
“We invite EA executives to read these reports themselves to determine if MEGA is the best solution for their company,” added de Risi.

For this report, Gartner analysts Chris Wilson and Julie Short evaluated 17 companies that provide EA solutions, and positioned them in four quadrants: leaders, visionaries, challengers, and niche players. The report described the current state of the market for EA tools and the vendor positioning.
“Leaders provide mature offerings that meet market demand, as well as demonstrate the vision necessary to sustain their market position as requirements evolve. The hallmark of leaders is that they focus and invest in their offerings to the point that they lead the market and can affect its overall direction. As a result, leaders can become the vendors to watch as you try to understand how new offerings might evolve,” according to the report.
The MEGA Suite is a solution that serves stakeholders across the entire enterprise, meeting the needs of business groups, IT divisions, enterprise architects, risk and compliance managers, executives, and more. The company extended its award-winning EA and BPA solutions a number of years ago to help companies also meet GRC requirements.
Companies that have chosen the MEGA Suite are leaders in their own respective industries. For example, just last month, MEGA customer Procter & Gamble won the 2011 Enterprise Architecture Award from Forrester and InfoWorld. Last week, another MEGA customer, The Co-operative Banking Group, won the British Quality Foundation Achievement Award in the process improvement category.
