Software simulates business scenarios for performance improvement, cost savings
RAYNHAM, Mass., and SINGAPORE, June 7, 2010 – MEGA today introduced MEGA Simulation BPMN Edition, a powerful decision-support tool supporting the BPMN standard. The software helps companies improve performance by building and analyzing multiple business scenarios using simulation techniques.
MEGA Simulation BPMN Edition, an addition to the MEGA Suite, helps analysts evaluate the effects and costs of process changes within the organization, before changes are made. Business analysts can evaluate multiple simulation scenarios, from isolated business processes to entire value chains of coordinated processes. This capability allows them to optimize enterprise processes, calculate anticipated ROI, and reduce costs.
MEGA Simulation BPMN Edition is specific to support analysis using the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), adopted in 2007 by the Object Management Group, the standards development organization, as a means to standardize process modeling.
“This product extends MEGA’s support for the BPMN standard, which aligns business needs with IT resources,” noted Lucio de Risi, CEO, MEGA. “Our new offering enables a common approach for both business and IT analysts to better analyze and coordinate user requirements with IT resources.”
The new tool is used with MEGA Process BPMN Edition, the industry’s premier business process analysis (BPA) software, used to model and analyze processes, resources, and organizational structures. MEGA Process BPMN Edition is also part of the MEGA Suite, recognized as an industry leader in business process and enterprise architecture for nearly 20 years. MEGA has been named a leader in Gartner, Inc.’s Magic Quadrants for BPA and enterprise architecture (EA) tools and in The Forrester Wave reports on BPA and EA tools for several years.
MEGA Simulation BPMN Edition is available now.
