Business architecture (BA) is quite a specialist arm of the enterprise architecture (EA) umbrella. Closely aligned with business strategy, BA promotes transparency, impact analysis and business/IT alignment.
In this interview, MEGA Product Manager Taylor Emery discusses how business architecture can bring a common understanding of the organization to all stakeholders – in both the business and IT departments. Business blueprints – expressed by way of diagrams using products like MEGA’s - provide the enterprise with the common language it needs to discuss scenarios, issues, and problems. He will also explain how it can be used to align strategic objectives and tactical demands, and why he believes BA is here to stay.
