About the Speakers:
Scott Hendler is the Migration Strategy Lead on the Skills and Architecture Transformation Team at Excellus BCBS. His responsibilities include developing strategies to migrate and use new technologies by Application Developers, as well as, assist in long term portfolio and application planning. Scott has been employed by Excellus for 11 years, 10 years in IT.
Over the past 16 years, he has worked in the government and healthcare industries. Scott has a Masters Degree of Public Administration from Rockefeller College, State University of NY at Albany.
Eric Stephens is an Enterprise Architect with Excellus BCBS. Eric has responsibility for SOA initiatives, Enterprise Architecture practices and tooling, and supports customer service solutions. He has nearly 20 years of IT experience in healthcare, insurance, and government systems. Eric also held an adjunct teaching position from 1996 – 2006 concurrent with his responsibilities at Excellus. He holds the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for J2EE designation and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
