RAYNHAM, Mass., August 11, 2008 – MEGA, a global leader in providing enterprise architecture (EA), business process analysis (BPA), and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions, will present "Three Key Concepts for Leveraging TOGAF”, at a live Web Conference on August 21 at 1 pm EDT (6 pm BST).
The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF-[TM]) is an open EA framework that provides an architecture development methodology, technical reference models, and documentation and guidance on how to implement EA. While TOGAF is widely recognized as a best practices approach and brings great value to an organization, many struggle with maximizing the value of TOGAF.
Through this Web conference, attendees will learn:
- if TOGAF is the correct decision for their organization;
- how to take full advantage of what TOGAF has to offer;
- how an organization can leverage TOGAF with an EA modeling tool;
This event is designed for organizations or individuals who want to:
- leverage an EA framework such as TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, FEAF, etc.;
- develop an EA framework or maintain an existing one;
- implement an EA tool to assist with their framework efforts.
The Web conference will be presented by Proteus Duxbury, a certified TOGAF practitioner, experienced enterprise architect, and principal consultant with PA Consulting Group (New York). Duxbury currently leads the State of New York, Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance's Architecture Development Methodology based on TOGAF. He has been an architecture and IT consultant for more than 10 years for public sector organizations (health, criminal justice, and social services) and blue chip private utility companies in the UK and US.
MEGA offers the MEGA EA Accelerator for TOGAF (certified by The Open Group), which speeds up the adoption and use of TOGAF within an organization, helping to expedite on-time, on-budget delivery of enterprise architecture projects and reduce the risk of project failure.
