Standard Framework Reduces Risk of Project Failure

MEGA International today introduced the MEGA EA Accelerator for TOGAF to expedite on-time, on-budget delivery of enterprise architecture projects and reduce the risk of project failure.

Based on the MEGA Modeling Suite for business process analysis (BPA) and enterprise architecture (EA), the MEGA EA Accelerator allows enterprise architects and business process analysts to follow a standard, comprehensive method to manage EA projects and insure project success.

The Accelerator implements the latest version of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF™), a detailed method and tools for designing an enterprise architecture. TOGAF, widely recognized as a best practices approach, was developed by The Open Group®, a vendor- and technology-neutral consortium whose experts develop open standards for global interoperability of processes.

The MEGA EA Accelerator speeds up the adoption and use of TOGAF within an organization with its repository-based, ready-to-use method. Architecture frameworks and standard methodologies are an efficient means to successfully manage large enterprise architecture projects. They provide structure based on expertise, thereby reducing the risks involved in large-scale projects.

The MEGA EA Accelerator, certified by The Open Group, is based on TOGAF 8.1.1. It supports the elements recommended for tool certification: Architecture Development Method (ADM), Enterprise Continuum, and Technical Reference Model (TRM).

The MEGA EA Accelerator will support new versions of other commonly used frameworks such as FEAF and DoDAF in the coming months.

The MEGA EA Accelerator for TOGAF provides a:
