A new methodology for BP documentation and a new Intranet will commence on April 1st. MEGA is the new technological tool that was chosen to support the new methodology. Business Process team members were trained in the use and administration of MEGA. Mr. Juan Tamez, Business Process Office Manager, stated that all "AXTEL's Enterprise Architecture information will be stored within the MEGA repository. Administration and Human Resources processes will be stored within MEGA in order to integrate them as a support for the organization."
This new Business Process documentation methodology, Mr. Juan Tamez explained "Integrates the Business Process outputs, the functions, responsibilities, IT usage, organizational structure, indicators & measurements and risks & controls providing us with the capacity to integrate AXTEL's Business Process with auditable regulations. Also the tool has the ability to analyze the information with cost and time evaluations and simulations. Thanks to the assistance of the process owners of AXTEL, it has been possible to adequately capture information and document more advanced and complex processes and systems".
