Lombardi® (www.lombardisoftware.com), the leader in Business Process Management (BPM) suite software for Global 2000 companies, and MEGA International (www.mega.com), the global leader in enterprise architecture solutions, announced they have entered into a joint sales and marketing agreement to promote and enhance the interoperability between the two companies’ award-winning products, MEGA Suite and Teamworks®.
“The key value of this partnership for joint MEGA and Lombardi customers is process interoperability,” said Lucio de Risi, president and CEO at MEGA International. “Customers can leverage their investment in MEGA's process models by importing them directly into Teamworks so that they can execute, manage, and optimize them.”
Both MEGA and Lombardi are members of the Object Management Group (www.omg.org), the worldwide standards organization. The two companies have helped to co-author the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), as well as the Business Process Definition Metamodel (BPDM) specification, currently working its way through the OMG’s standards process. These standards are critical to delivering useful process interoperability, because they insure that information isn't locked into proprietary, non-portable formats.
“MEGA has strong business process analysis expertise and a well-established customer base,” said Rod Favaron, President and CEO at Lombardi. “Like Lombardi, they are dedicated to helping provide a foundation for helping their customers transform their businesses to be more process driven.”
Lombardi Teamworks is the leading BPM software for designing, executing, and improving business processes. Lombardi for Office™ makes it easy for anyone to participate in business process management using the familiar Microsoft® Office System products. Lombardi Blueprint™ is the only on-demand process improvement tool that enables companies to map processes, identify problems and prioritize improvement opportunities.
MEGA's enterprise architecture (EA) solutions help reduce risks, manage change, and increase efficiency by identifying best practices, assessing the potential impacts of 'what if' scenarios, and speeding up projects through reuse of vital corporate information. MEGA provides an enterprise repository in which managers can view, maintain, and optimize the business processes and enterprise architecture.
