As a Manager Business Consultant, you will lead the service team based in Sydney and will be responsible for the success of HOPEX implementation projects in Australia & New Zealand. Your role will include both project management and functional leadership. Your tasks will include team management, project scoping, functional workshops, requirement specifications, testing and training.

Manager Business Consultant Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Identify new service opportunities,
    • Collaborate with sales team on RFPs
    • Prepare Services proposals
    • Follow-up with customers/prospects on services opportunities and engagement kick off
  • Project management
    • Schedule projects and coordinate the team
    • Manage time and quality of deliverables
    • Manage client expectations
  • Scoping
    • Prepare engagements
    • Prepare and lead scoping meetings
    • Provide leadership for and formalize scoping notes
  • Engagement
    • Analyze the company architectural elements required for the engagement
    • Analyze client needs and offer methodological and/or tooling solutions
    • Specify business and technical requirements
    • Develop acceptance cases for MEGA customizations
    • Contribute to project documentation (user guides, methodology, etc.)
  • Training
    • Write training reports
    • Lead training sessions
  • Steering
    • Manage the client relationship
    • Prepare and lead steering committees
    • Send reports according to the frequency defined by the Services Manager/Director
    • Internal Projects (improve knowledge base, capitalization)
    • Administration (time sheets, workload forecasts, expenses etc.)
    • Promotion (Contribute to externally promote MEGA (blogs, networking, trade shows, etc.))

Manager Business Consultant Skills

  • Good expertise in Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience in EA software implementation
  • 8 years of experience
  • EA  and project management certifications (TOGAF, Archimate, Scrum) are good to have
  • Management skills: ability to lead a project team remotely
