What we expect a Pre-Sales Engineer to do

  • Develop high level competency with MEGA’s HOPEX platform and the underlying meta-model
  • Prepare and make technical presentations and demonstrations showing how the HOPEX solution fits customers’ needs 
  • Facilitate discovery discussions with prospects and customers to collect, interpret, and analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed solution proposals
  • Present competitive arguments that highlight the relative advantages of HOPEX compared to other software tools
  • Set up and execute proof of concepts (POCs)
  • Respond to multiple RFIs and RFPs simultaneously 
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services team to ensure an orderly transition to post sales implementation and deployment
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to help shape value propositions and messaging that excite prospects about the benefits of HOPEX 

Pre-Sales Engineer Profile

To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate: 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Understand customer's technical issues, in the customer’s vocabulary
  • Familiarity and interest in Enterprise Architecture 
  • Desire and willingness to travel to client sites, tradeshows, and other locations as needed
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields 
  • Knowledge in TOGAF, BPMN, ArchiMate or UML would be a plus
  • Knowledge in meta-modeling and development (VB, JAVA,.net) would be a plus
