LONDON, July 8th, 2019 – MEGA International has again been certified by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) to be part of its Digital Marketplace, which allows public-sector bodies in the UK to purchase IT products and services through faster, simpler procurement processes.
MEGA is part of the Digital Marketplace’s G-Cloud 11 initiative, designed to simplify procurement of cloud-related software, IT services and technologies by public sector organisations. It centralises the vendor qualification process, removing lengthy, complicated procurement requirements for every IT purchase.
“For years, MEGA has worked with ministerial departments, agencies, public bodies and not-for-profit organisations throughout the UK, providing technology solutions that help their constituents and members. This certification will make it even easier for them to access MEGA’s innovative technology,” noted Lucio de Risi, CEO, MEGA.
Through a rigorous application and review process for suppliers, G-Cloud 11 helps the UK central government, local governments, health, education, devolved administrations, emergency services, defense, and not-for-profit organisations streamline the purchasing process, gaining:
- access to over 1,000 suppliers and 20,000 services (source: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/digital-marketplace-buyers-guide)
- rapid deployment of technologies and increased agility to serve constituents
- faster acquisition of innovative products and services

With this certification, hundreds of public sector organisations in the UK can purchase MEGA’s solutions more quickly and efficiently. For nearly 30 years, MEGA’s enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management and other solutions have been used by agencies and businesses in the UK and around the world to increase agility, streamline complexity and manage organizational change and Brexit-related challenges.
There is also keen interest in MEGA’s Privacy Management solution that helps organisations meet the requirements of the European Union General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR), guiding them toward ongoing compliance efforts.
