Your Role as a Presales Engineer

To support its growth in the APC Market, MEGA wants to add to its team a talented Pre-Sales Engineer with a minimum of 1 – 2 years of relevant experience to contribute to our Digital Transformation business opportunities in Asia.

Your role will be a key member of the sales team based in Singapore. You will demonstrate the software to prospects, answer Requests for Proposals and manage partner trainings. Your role will be essential in the business development of MEGA in Asia.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Ability to understand, assess and document prospect and clients’ challenges and objectives in order to prepare specific solution demonstrations and formal documentation
  • Prepare, conduct and record products’ presentations demonstrating value of Enterprise Architecture and MEGA Solutions to prospects or clients
  • Provide and document all replies in relation to MEGA Software Solution in the context of Public Tenders, Requests for Information or Requests for Proposals
  • Support Prospects or Client during pilots, lead proof of concepts or trials in collaboration with Services team
  • Prepare and Run partner trainings
  • Support marketing activities such as webinars and/or physical events
  • Support any other APAC sales activities in coordination with the Sales team
  • Contribute to the MEGA global presales community by sharing local assets created and building a knowledge base around the latest features and functionalities of the product

Skills required

  • 1-2 + years of working experience as presales
  • Excellent communication and oral and written presentation skills
  • Presales engineer experience for a SaaS software vendor or Consulting experience in Enterprise Software Implementation
  • Storytelling ability is key to conveying the value proposition.
  • Understanding and translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements in the product.
  • Attention to detail as well as ability to improvise and be spontaneous.
  • Fluent in English
  • A strong team-player with capability to work creatively and analytically.
  • Self-motivated, self-discipline with an inquisitive mind
  • Understanding of Enterprise Architecture is a plus
  • Ability to travel in Asia
